November 6th, 2014 – Attended the Scottish Rural Parliament as a delegate representing Slow Food Scotland
September 20th, 2014 – Thanks to Chef Niel Forbes for Showcasing Briggs’ Shetland Lamb during his cookery demonstration at Terra Madre Scotland Cawdor Castle, Nairn
December 7th, 2013 – We teamed up with Chef Andrew Macdonald of Brackfriars to serve Native Shetland Lamb with Shetland Black Potatoes & Shetland Cabbage at the Castle Street Farmer’s Market, Edinburgh
October 10th, 2012 – Started a blog “Views from a Shetland Flock”
August 2nd, 2012 – We entered Shetland Seaweed Lamb into The Great taste Awards 2012. For the second year running we have been awarded a Gold Two Star Award for one of our products
August 10th, 2011 – A Gold Two Star Award was awarded to Briggs’ Shetland Hogget (2 summers old) in The Great Taste Awards 2011
August 10th, 2010 – A Gold One Star Award was awarded to Briggs’ Shetland Lamb PDO in The Great Taste Awards 2010
26th June 2009- At the The Royal Highland Show my ram lamb was awarded 3rd prize and my ewelamb 4th.
October 31st, 2008 – My Shetland Lamb was served at a Slow Food event at La Potiniere designed to give members the opportunity to taste my Shetland lamb alongside Shetland Seaweed lamb and Lamb from a Shetland Flock resident in East Lothian.
